Virtual - Make and Take Book Tools for Building Communication in ECE

During this engaging event, participants will learn how to apply knowledge about early childhood literacy milestones to develop props and extension activities for books that they use in participants' settings.

Participants registered at least 2 weeks prior to the event start date will be mailed materials to create engaging props to use during storytelling. All will receive the links used by the trainer to print & purchase the materials.

Participants will present their resources and activities with the group for everyone to benefit!

Refund Policy: No refunds if canceled less than 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled event. Cancellations 7 days or more will receive refunds minus financial processing fees and $15 administration fee. If Teaching Improves Performance cancels the training event, you will receive a full refund or choose to hold for credit towards future events.

This Session's intended:

Goal- Support best practice in early childhood communication development and early literacy skill development.

Objectives-

Participants will identify key milestones of language/communication and literacy development.
Participants will select quality children's literature to promote communication and language acquisition.
Participants will create props used to engage children in literacy development to promote communication skills.
